Kocurek Koalas, it’s almost time! 🐨📚 We’ve got a full lineup of back-to-school events to help your family start the year feeling ready and connected.

📅 Meet the Teacher – August 14, 2–4 pm: Students find out who their teacher is, visit their classroom, and drop off supplies.

🎈 Pre-K & Kinder Playdate – August 15, 9–11:30 am · Main Kocurek Playground: Come play, meet other families, and help welcome our newest Koalas—whether or not you have a Pre-K or Kinder kiddo.

🎒 First Day of School – August 18, 7:40 am start: Arrive early to grab a photo with the Welcome Back sign before the bell rings and learning begins.

🧩 First PTA Meeting – August 27, 6:00 pm · Kocurek Elementary: Enter through the double doors to the left/south of the main office and learn how PTA supports our community, teachers, and students.

🏫 Back to School Night – September 4, 5–6:30 pm · Kocurek Elementary: Students become the tour guides as families visit classrooms and hear about curriculum and expectations.
