5th Grade Camping Trip

This 3-day, 2-night trip features unforgettable activities ranging from team-building games to kayaking. Your fee covers a portion of total costs, including transportation, meals, activity leaders, lifeguards, and safety staff. We are committed to ensuring every student can attend regardless of financial hardship. To request support or share donation/grant opportunities, please contact Assistant Principal Amanda Lengnick-Hall (amanda.lengnick-hall@austinisd.org) or Parent Support Specialist Monica Concepcion (monica.concepcion@austinisd.org). 

If you requested partial financial assistance, please enter the amount you are able to pay today—our campus team will follow up with you.

Pay Above & Beyond: If you are able to help sponsor another student by paying more than the standard $75 fee, please enter your desired amount above—every additional contribution helps make this trip possible for all campers!  

Please note that the field trip is being organized by Kocurek Elementary. Kocurek PTA is helping to collect funds. All payments will be used by the school for the field trip.

3% Cover the Fee

This October, Kocurek Elementary’s 5th graders will travel to H-E-B Foundation Camp in Leakey, Texas, for a three-day, two-night overnight camping experience. For many of our students, this will be their first opportunity to attend an overnight camp. Donations will help make this experience accessible to every student, regardless of a family’s ability to pay. Funds may be used to help cover transportation, camp costs, meals and snacks, camping and personal supplies, and scholarships for students who need financial assistance.
